Port Alert is a useful application for tracking and receiving ports either by email or SMS notifications. The easy to use software has a simple interface with several buttons, boxes and a panel showing all the parts you add.
The application supports both remote and local systems and is compatible with many types of ports, including Internet, SQL, MySQL, IMAP, POP3, SMTP, FTP, DNS and SSH. You select the required type of port from a drop-down list and then provide an IP address or host name and a brief description. The description will help you identify the port quickly.
You can directly select common ports such as port 21 or 80 in the drop-down menu. If the port you want is not on the list, the program allows you to add it.
The program lets you set the number of consecutive timeouts required before sending an alert to ensure that no longer receive alerts. You can also set the maximum number of SMS application to send messages. You can also set the interval at which you want the program to send queries to the ports added.
