Snippy is a utility for free screen capture that provides an easy way to select parts of the screen and cut and paste into other applications.
Snippy is very easy to use, just click on the Snippy icon (the mouse cursor will turn into a pen) and use the mouse to mark the part of the screen to be copied. To use a rectangular shape for marking need to hold down the Shift key while dragging. The cropped image is now in the clipboard and can be pasted into any other application.
Snippy does not require installation. Just download and run the executable file. If you add a shortcut for Snippy in the Startup folder, the program will start automatically when the computer is turned on.
Snippy 21 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows / OS platform. Snippy is offered as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
